Bolt+ Warranty Coverage

Scope of Coverage

This warranty covers the device and does not extend to the charger, adapter, or cable. It applies to the following issues:

  1. Pre-existing defects or visible damage upon receipt of the device ex. Parts coming apart due to manufacturing defects.

  2. Battery showing signs of leakage or depletion.

  3. Device or button failing to power on due to manufacturing defects.

  4. Device automatically shutting off due to manufacturing defects.

  5. Charging issues arising from manufacturing defects, excluding water ingress unless caused by faulty waterproofing.

  6. Touchscreen failure due to manufacturing defects.

  7. Screen color issues, including color distortion or pixel failure.

  8. Card reader issues (Tap or Insert).

  9. Wi-Fi connectivity problems.

Any issues not specified in the “Scope of Coverage” section are not covered under this warranty.



Warranty Coverage Period

  • The standard warranty for the device is valid for 2 years, starting from the date indicated on your official proof of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original device purchased and is subject to the warranty terms and conditions in effect at the time of your purchase or replacement.

  • Warranty coverage is limited to the original purchaser or an authorized distributor of the device.



Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

  • Accidental drops, impacts, or physical abuse.

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.

  • Use of third-party accessories or applications that cause damage.

  • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches, scuffs, or fading.

  • Consumable parts such as batteries, unless proven defective.

  • External factors such as fire, flooding, electrical surges, or other natural disasters.

  • Damage caused by use in environments outside the device's recommended operating conditions (e.g., extreme temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight).

  • Any issues, malfunctions, or damages outside the defined scope of coverage. These cases will not be considered valid warranty claims and are ineligible for service or replacement.



Warranty Conditions

The warranty covers the following conditions:

  • Pre-existing defects or visible damage upon delivery: If your device arrives with any pre-existing defects or visible damage e.g., cracked screen, deep scratches on the casing or parts detaching (due to manufacturing defects only, mishandling or external factors is not covered), please notify us within 7 days of receipt. After this period, visible damage may not be covered under warranty.

  • Battery leakage or severe charge degradation: Applies if the battery leaks or loses 90% of its charge within one hour of normal use.

  • Failure to power on: Cover cases where the device or any buttons fails to turn on due to a manufacturing defect.

  • Unexpected shutdowns: Your device turns off unexpectedly or experiences power loss due to a manufacturing defect.

  • Charging issues: Your device is covered under warranty for charging issues arising from manufacturing defects (not including charging stand, adapter, or cable), excluding water damage unless due to faulty waterproofing.

  • Touchscreen failure: The touchscreen becomes non-functioning or unresponsive due to a manufacturing defect.

  • Screen color issues or pixel failure: Your device exhibits abnormal screen colors, such as color distortion or pixel failure, affecting 10% or more of the display area, or significantly impairing usage (e.g., difficulty reading text, viewing images, or operating the touch interface).

  • Card reader Issues (Tap or Insert): Your device has trouble detecting or reading cards consistently when tapping or inserting. Damage from drops, spills, or accidents is not covered. 

  • Wi-Fi connectivity problems: If your device is struggling to find or stay connected to a network due to a manufacturing defect (excluding issues caused by local network problems). 


Replacement

  • We do not offer repairs. Only replacements are available under this warranty.

  • If a covered defect is found, we’ll replace your device with a new or refurbished unit of equal or better specifications, depending on availability.

  • If the defect is discovered after the warranty period ends, you may still be eligible for a replacement, but a service fee will apply, or you can choose to purchase a new unit.

  • In the event a device is replaced under warranty:

  1. New Warranty Period:
    A new limited warranty may apply to the replacement device, starting from the date it is shipped to you, as stated in the accompanying documentation.

  2. Proof of Replacement:
    We’ll provide a formal record confirming your replacement and the applicable warranty coverage. This document also serves as proof of the new warranty start date.

  3. Eligibility and Coverage:
    All warranty claims are subject to verification and must meet the conditions outlined in our warranty policy. Devices must be returned through authorized channels for evaluation. Eligibility for replacement is determined on a case-by-case basis, and replacements are not automatically guaranteed.

  • Although the charging stand, adapter, and cable are not covered under this warranty, we provide one complimentary replacement of these items per device in case of any issues. For additional replacements, please feel free to contact us for purchase options.


Warranty Claim Process

  • To make a warranty claim, please contact Beam through this Bolt+ warranty claim form.

  • Your claims must include:

    • A description of the issue or defect.

    • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).

    • Photos or videos showing the defect (if applicable).

    • The device’s serial number and model information.

  • To help us process your warranty or replacement smoothly, please return the device along with all its accessories in its original packaging. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll confirm the issue and ship a replacement to you at our expense. 


Limitations of Liability

Beam’s liability under this warranty is limited to replacing the device and does not cover:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption). 

  • Damages resulting from misuse or external causes.

  • Any other damages related to the device’s failure.


No Warranty Transfer

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser or an authorized distributor. Claims from resellers, secondhand buyers, or unauthorized parties will not be accepted. Reselling or transferring the device will void the warranty.


Software Updates & Compatibility

This warranty excludes software-related issues, including:

  • Problems caused by third-party software or applications that cause the device to malfunction.

  • Compatibility issues or errors from software updates, unless caused by a hardware manufacturing defect.

If you encounter a software issue, please let us know. We're committed to continually improving our software and will provide over-the-air updates to enhance performance and fix problems where possible.


International Warranty

This warranty is valid only in Thailand and is available only to customers residing in Thailand. If you purchase the device in Thailand but use it elsewhere, warranty services will not be available.


Version of Warranty Terms

The applicable warranty version is determined by the version in effect at the time of purchase or replacement. Terms may be updated, and the relevant version will be indicated in our official communications or documentation.


Final Decision

We review warranty claims carefully and fairly, based on the details of each case and our policy. While we always aim to be transparent, please note that all decisions on warranty coverage, eligibility, and replacements are final.
